Who we are

This portal is operated by Law Offices of Rozsa Gyene, 3500 W. Olive Ave., Suite 300, Burbank, CA 91505, telephone (818) 337-4071, email office@uncontestedcaliforniadivorce.com (the "Firm"). This policy explains what information the portal collects, how it is used, and your rights.

What we collect

Screening answers: what you tell the portal about your marriage, your spouse, your children, your property and your residence to find out whether this service fits. Account information: your name, email address and the sign-in method you use. Matter information: the names, contact details, dates, property, debts, income and agreements you provide for your divorce documents, including information about your spouse that you provide. Signing records: your typed signature, the date and time, the IP address of your device and the document you signed. Payment information: the Firm's payment processor collects your card details; the Firm never sees or stores your full card number. Technical information: server logs with IP addresses and request times, kept for security.

How we use it

To decide whether the Firm can accept your matter, including a conflict check of both spouses' names against the Firm's existing client records; to provide the legal services you engaged the Firm for; to prepare your court documents and agreement; to communicate with you about your matter; to process payment; and to keep the portal secure. The Firm does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act, and does not use your information for advertising of any kind.

Who else sees it

Your spouse has no account on this portal and sees nothing here. What your spouse receives is what the law requires you to serve on them, delivered by you. Service providers that process data for the Firm: Google Firebase (authentication and database), Netlify (hosting, functions and file storage), Stripe (payments) and Resend (email delivery). Each is bound to use the data only to provide its service.

How long we keep it

The record of a matter, including the audit log, the documents prepared for you and your signed writings, is kept for 10 years after the Firm closes the matter, because a judgment of dissolution and the agreement behind it may be relied on long after they are made. Screening answers for a matter that was never opened are kept for ninety days and then deleted. Portal account information that is not part of the record is deleted within ninety days after the matter closes or on your request, whichever comes first. Email delivery logs are kept for two years. You may ask for a copy of your data, or for deletion of data that is not part of a legal record, by writing to office@uncontestedcaliforniadivorce.com. California residents have the rights the California Consumer Privacy Act provides, subject to the exemptions for information held by an attorney for a client.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, stored with access controls that limit each user to their own matter, and recorded in an append-only audit log. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, tell the Firm immediately.

Changes and contact
